eSkilled has launched a cutting-edge feature, RTO Analytics & AI Reporting, integrated into its student and learning management platform for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) in Australia. This advancement aims to streamline the way RTO staff access essential operational data, encompassing areas such as enrolments, learner progress, compliance, finance, attendance, and overall organisational performance. The newly introduced system seeks to minimize the dependency on spreadsheets, manual data exports, and the necessity for specialized reporting skills.
The comprehensive reporting system includes 29 reportable entities and covers more than 650 fields, offering detailed insights into students, enrolments, trainers, finance, attendance, quality management, risk management, continuous improvement, and AVETMISS data. Users can effortlessly generate reports by utilizing a user-friendly point-and-click interface or by employing natural-language prompts to specify their data needs. This AI-driven system can then pinpoint relevant data, apply necessary filters, develop visualizations, and configure the desired report. It allows users to pose questions such as identifying trainers with credentials nearing expiration, locating invoices unpaid for over 30 days, or comparing withdrawal rates across different qualifications.
According to eSkilled CEO Scott Rogers, the new feature is designed to democratize access to operational information for RTO employees, eliminating the need for advanced reporting expertise or database knowledge. The platform also introduces AI Chat with Your Data, enabling staff to ask operational queries using natural language, with responses drawn from live data within the organization’s student management system. This functionality is versatile, enabling examination of areas like attendance, completion rates, financial performance, compliance activities, and quality management.
Additionally, the platform offers role-specific dashboards and reporting tools tailored for executives, RTO managers, training coordinators, compliance teams, finance staff, trainers, and administrators. Among the features are KPI dashboards, scheduled reports, AVETMISS data-quality monitoring, trainer credential tracking, and comprehensive organisation-wide reporting. To ensure security and proper access, the analytics and AI features adhere to existing user permissions, restricting information access based on staff roles. AI queries operate on sanitized and permission-controlled data, with audit logging in place to monitor reporting and AI activity, thereby supporting organisational governance and regulatory compliance.
eSkilled’s new analytics capability is part of its broader platform that integrates student management, learning management, online training delivery, compliance functions, and business intelligence. The RTO Analytics & AI Reporting feature is set to be available in eSkilled SMS & LMS by August 2026, marking a significant step forward in the digital transformation of educational management systems.
