A particularly severe fire erupted at a Wildberries distribution warehouse situated near Podolsk, roughly 25 miles from central Moscow. Amid heightened tensions, NATO confirmed that a Spanish fighter jet, part of a NATO patrol, shot down a suspected Russian drone after it breached Romanian airspace. This incident highlights the escalating risks associated with the increased use of long-range weaponry by both nations. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Russia of systematically targeting civilian infrastructure, stating that over the past week, Moscow launched more than 1,550 attack drones, nearly 1,560 guided bombs, and 62 missiles against Ukraine.
